GEA Group, located in York, PA, is searching for an Electrical Project Engineer - Control Systems, to join our Engineering Department!
Responsibilities:
Configure programs for control of industrial refrigeration equipment.
Work to refine contract details.
Oversee the creation of electrical contract drawings.
Write manuals explaining the configured control logic.
Provide start up support for executed contracts.
Ability to share productivity enhancements found with other Project Engineers.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field highly preferred.
5-10 years of related experience REQUIRED.
5+ years of experience with HMI/SCADA and discrete logic REQUIRED.
Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, panel building, electrical drafting, PLC programming, and/or VBA scripting is preferred.
Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience/Exposure to the following:
Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Standard Controllers, RSLogix™ 5000 programming software
AutoCAD
Ethernet/RS-485 communications
XML/VB/PLC/SCADA
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
