We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at MORSE, where you'll play a key role in designing, developing, prototyping, and testing innovative air vehicle systems. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll work on a wide range of domains, applying your expertise to create complex electrical hardware for novel systems.
Responsibilities:Design and develop electronic systems, from concept to deployment for R&D vehicle systems from concept to production
Lead design and analysis tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
Work with avionics, embedded systems, RF communication, and power subsystems to develop and test complex systems
Design and analyze analog and digital circuits, with experience in battery management systems a plus
Develop fabrication and test procedures, troubleshoot complex systems, and support flight test operations
US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, advanced degree a plus
5+ years of engineering experience with R&D projects,
Familiarity with IPC or SAE standards a plus
Familiarity and experience using CAN bus standard a plus
Extensive experience in one or more areas: power systems, RF, embedded control
Familiarity with PCB schematic capture and board bring-up process
Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot complex systems
Flight test, small UAV, or UUV experience a plus, hands-on experience with lab equipment a plus
MORSE Corp’s salary range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated. Depending on role eligibility, total compensation may also include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year. MORSE maintains an “open” leave policy that does not restrict exempt, regular full-time employees to a specific number of paid sick or vacation days. However, this policy is not an “unlimited” paid leave policy.
