Key responsibilities:
- You lead the design, review, and approval of electrical distribution systems and power infrastructure to ensure the plant's electricity needs are met safely and efficiently.
- You collaborate with engineering teams to ensure electrical systems meet the production requirements and are aligned with plant layouts, equipment specifications, and regulatory standards.
- You ensure the integration of control systems with the plant's operational requirements, including automated monitoring and control of production lines, utilities, and auxiliary systems
- You oversee the installation of electrical wiring, switchgear, transformers, and control systems during the construction phase.
- You lead the commissioning and start-up activities for electrical and automation systems, ensuring that all systems function according to design and are ready for full operation
- You manage the overall power distribution system of the plant.
- You ensure the selection and installation of accurate and reliable instrumentation for process monitoring and control, including temperature, pressure, flow, and level sensors.
- You establish procedures for the ongoing maintenance of electrical and control systems, ensuring long-term reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- You are an expert in designing and managing high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
- You have a strong understanding of industrial automation systems including PLC/SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
- You are experienced with power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, and electrical protection systems.
- You are proficient in instrumentation and process control systems (e.g., flow meters, temperature sensors, and pressure transmitters).
- You are familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.
- You are knowledgeable of energy-efficient technologies and sustainable electrical design practices
- You can analyze system performance and optimize for energy efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- You think critically and can resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
