Job Description

This role is based in 240 Blackfriars, London Office 

Are you an exceptionally skilled, driven editor looking for your next challenge? The Content & Publishing Operations team within I&A Operations needs you to support our UK-based content production team.

This role is perfect if you pride yourself on being highly organized, excel at communication, and thrive working behind the scenes to keep projects moving. Do you find satisfaction in ensuring the quality and timeliness of research deliverables? Then this position is tailored for you!

In this role, you'll assist with content allocation, drive strategic initiatives, and support day-to-day operations to ensure content meets our rigorous quality standards and deadlines. Your top-tier English-language writing and editing skills will be put to excellent use every day.

Key responsibilities

  • Copyediting and proofreading Word-based reports, PowerPoint documents, Excel spreadsheets, and data tools to ensure content is consistent, accurate, in line with house style, and accessible to a global client base.
  • Supporting the creation and repurposing of selected research content.
  • Taking content through the CMS-based publishing workflow, from the editorial queue to publication.
  • Supporting successful, on-time delivery of research projects across sectors, including consulting engagements.
  • Training and supporting analysts and other colleagues on writing skills, editorial processes, workflows, style guides, and content management systems. 
  • Supporting strategic initiatives and special projects, from planning and and scheduling through delivery.
  • Working closely with research and data colleagues from across the business to ensure content is delivered on time and to high quality.
  • Creating, standardizing, and supporting business workflow documentation and process maps.

Qualifications

  • Top-tier editing skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with content management systems and publishing tools
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of managing tasks to ensure deadlines and stakeholder expectations are met
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent written and communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across groups
  • Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders 
  • Experience in B2B technology market intelligence or similar sector (preferred)
  • Basic design skills
  • Ability to create, edit, or review multimedia deliverables such as podcasts and videos (preferred)
  • Basic working knowledge of Power BI and Tableau dashboards (preferred)
  • Experience of writing and editing content such as white papers, blogs, or e-books (preferred)
