Role summary:

  • Develop and implement programs and interventions designed to attract, retain, develop and advance diverse talent, eliminate hidden barriers to success, address systemic inequities, and foster inclusive leadership.

  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the business that are aligned with firmwide talent strategies and group objectives.

  • Operate as a skilled facilitator who can create content for EDI training and awareness programs that will increase strategic impact throughout the group.

  • Analyse EDI data trends to measure progress and programme effectiveness, and to inform LSEG’s EDI strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and oversee the implementation of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives, ensuring alignment with project timelines, deliverables, and intended outcomes.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to foster inclusive practices, providing guidance and education to support cultural change across the organisation.

  • Partner with the People Analytics and Insights team to develop reports and presentations that reflect workforce representation, employee sentiment, wellbeing, and organisational effectiveness.

  • Engage, coach, and collaborate with colleagues at all levels — including individual contributors, people leaders, associates, external EDI advisory councils, partners, and senior leadership — to embed inclusive practices.

  • Stay informed on evolving EDI best practices and recommend innovative initiatives to ensure LSEG remains a leader in fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.

  • Represent LSEG in external councils, conferences, and forums to stay current on emerging trends, benchmark against leading organisations, and enhance the organisation’s visibility and reputation in the EDI space.

  • Work closely with LSEG Inclusion Networks to co-create and implement annual strategic plans, prepare leadership updates, analyse data, deliver impactful programming, and manage associated budgets.

  • Support the effective coordination of the overall EDI calendar and budget to ensure timely and efficient delivery of initiatives.

What You'll bring:

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience designing and delivering EDI strategies aligned with organisational goals, with the ability to lead complex projects and manage budgets effectively.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage and influence senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and diverse stakeholders.

  • Skilled in developing and delivering impactful EDI training, interpreting data to inform strategy, and producing clear, accessible reports and presentations.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of systemic inequities, inclusive leadership, and global EDI trends, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

  • Able to interpret data and present the narrative to the stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with people analytics teams and digital tools (e.g., Workday, BI platforms) to support data-driven EDI initiatives.

  • Active participation in external EDI networks and forums, with an understanding of global and cultural nuances.

  • Familiarity with change management principles and professional accreditation in EDI, HR, or related fields (e.g., CIPD) is advantageous.
