Job Description

We’re looking for a capable and delivery-focused Technical Project Manager to lead projects across our core tech stack, which includes .NET/C#, Shopify, and Microsoft Azure. You’ll take ownership of key initiatives—from scoping through to delivery—working closely with internal stakeholders and external development partners. The role is ideal for someone who understands how to get things done in a tech-driven environment, with enough technical knowledge to manage timelines, challenge assumptions, and make sure work is progressing as expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects from concept through delivery, including timelines, scope, resources, and stakeholder management

  • Manage and coordinate external developers and partners (e.g. Shopify developers, .NET contractors)

  • Work closely with internal teams to align project requirements with system capabilities

  • Act as a technical translator between stakeholders and developers—ensuring clarity on objectives and timelines

  • Oversee integrations between our Shopify storefront and internal systems built in .NET/C#

  • Manage data workflows and infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure, including Azure SQL and App Services

  • Track project progress, flag risks early, and maintain clear documentation and reporting

  • Improve internal delivery processes and ensure all technical projects are delivered with rigour and accountability

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in a Technical Project Manager or Delivery Lead role

  • Strong working knowledge of .NET/C# development environments (you don’t need to code, but must understand how it works)

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly around database architecture, cloud hosting, and app deployment

  • Familiarity with Shopify (platform workflows, APIs, app integrations)

  • Experience working with external development teams, agencies, or contractors

  • Hands-on project management experience using tools like Jira, Asana, Trello, or Azure DevOps

  • Excellent communication skills—confident managing developers and reporting to non-technical stakeholders

Desirable

  • Exposure to ERP integrations (e.g. Sage Intacct, NetSuite)

  • Understanding of Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks

  • Project management certifications (Scrum Master, Prince2, PMP)

  • Experience in an eCommerce or retail-tech environment
