Supporting Merrell Senior Finance Brand Manager. Covering reporting for all EMEA eCommerce. This role will partner with the Country Managers, Brand Team and Operations Team to ensure all regional reporting meets internal EMEA standards. This role will be based in the UK and the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Provides front line financial support to the Senior Finance Brand Manager across the key areas of: financial forecasting, P&L reporting, annual budgeting, pricing and discounts, maintenance of internal controls, variance analysis
  • Ensures the Senior Finance Brand Manager / Commercial Team has all the data/analysis required to support all financial business decision making and projects
  • Harmonise system and reporting structure with WWW EMEA head office
  • Model financial scenarios that underpin growth and business decisions
  • Reviews opportunities for profitability improvement / SG&A reduction
  • Perform duties consistent with the company’s policies & targeted objectives for the year relating to company’s appraisal scheme. 
  • Perform other duties as required / assigned by Senior Finance Brand Manager, or Brand Group VP.
KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
  • Working towards CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification required
  • Minimum 3 years commercial experience of wholesale or FMCG industries (preferably within branded footwear or apparel) Ecommerce experience would be an advantage.
  • Commercially aware, with experience of working in sales/marketing environment
  • Experience within a highly commercial business environment
  • Numerate with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter full of initiative
  • Team player
  • Ability to transcend peer group barriers / dealing with various levels throughout the business and across territories
  • Experience of SAP and BW (or similar) reporting tool
  • Advance Excel skills (minimum - Vlookup, linked workbooks, Pivot tables)
  • Business Analytics experience (Power BI, SAC) is a strong asset.
