How you will create an impact

There is lots of exciting modernization and transformation work happening in AIG, and you will have the opportunity to work with the business on a wide variety of interesting projects.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with business users and subject matter experts to understand their eTrade needs. Gather requirements for new system functionalities or enhancements and the impacts of fast flow business on existing AIG process.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyse existing business processes related to eTrade and identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization aligned to the high volume, low touch business.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with cross functional teams, including business stakeholders, solution architects, third party vendors, data, and infrastructure teams to document technical solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance such as consumer duty.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases to guide development and testing activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and vendor partners, ensuring effective communication, managing expectations, and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 5 + Years experience of IT Business Analysis and Project Management in the Insurance industry
  • Experience in the development of digital technology and online trading capabilities, such as Acturis and iMarket
  • Good understanding and experience of Agile and Non-Agile delivery methodologies
  • UK commercial insurance knowledge
  • SDLC and Requirements Methodologies experience
  • Strong analytical skills, business process re-engineering skills, and data analysis skills
  • Ability to interact with senior business and technology management, and work within a large, matrix organization model
  • Experience with testing, test planning, and execution
  • Strong vendor/partner management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, multi-task, and be a team player
  • Advanced interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
