Join us as a e-Trade Business Development Manager to play an influential role in driving e-Trade growth. This role will cover the South and can be based from London or Birmingham.

AIG is investing in its e-Trade capability as we look to grow our footprint in the UK SME marketplace.  This is an exciting opportunity with a market leading insurer who is committed to meet the future needs of our clients and distribution partners via digital platform technology.

About the role

·       This role will report to the e-trade manager and will be responsible for building relationships and promoting AIG e-trade products to achieve the allocated budget

·       Sign up new e-trade broker agencies to trade via AIG eXtra or Acturis

·       Identify, evaluate and secure new distribution opportunities

·       This role will drive growth with existing AIG e-trade brokers and increase penetration

·       Work and support the UK Business Development team to identify new e-trade opportunities

·       Working closely with product lines and service teams to gather feedback from the brokers on service, support, and platform satisfaction to drive further growth

·       Act as point of contact for e-trade brokers

What you’ll need to succeed

-       Broker facing experience

-       Broker development experience with SME e-trade experience being advantageous

-       Knowledge of the e-trade landscape within insurance

-       Knowledge of the SME Insurance Market

-       Commercial and financial acumen

-       Experience of organising  broker events

-       Experience of forging, managing and developing customer relationships at all levels
