Direct to Consumer

Location: Weybridge, UK

Are you a dynamic E-Commerce marketeer with a passion for driving online sales? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Direct to Consumer team in Weybridge, UK.

As a key member of the team, you will play a key part in ‘Getting Closer to People’ and evolve the Marketing platform through this important part of Sony Europe’s Digital Strategy. You will drive online sales for Sony Europe to achieve targets, improve customer journey and develop e-commerce maturity.

You will:

  • Increase the number of direct customers and support the retention of those customers through providing ways for our customers to discover our products and services.
  • Co-ordinate and contribute to developing the Affiliate and Closed shop business to contribute to growing traffic, Sales, and quantity of registered Direct to Consumer customers in the Sony Store Online in multiple markets.
  • Support the development and administration of the MySony Membership Proposition which contributes to increasing new account registration and retention of customers which in turn drives increased Lifetime Value.

Affiliate Program Leadership

You will work with the Category Management and Country Business Management team to increase the traffic and sales from the Affiliates and closed communities’ platform as well as the Closed Shops. This is a sales growth contributor and will require focus on selecting and working with publishers by market as well as the administration related to the operation of the affiliates platform and various Closed Shops.

MySony Membership Program Management

You will support the establishment and Management of the MySony Membership programme which creates reasons for our Guest Customers to create MySony Accounts and also provides membership value that encourages Repeat Visits and Repeat Sales.

E-Commerce Customer Journey Expertise

You will be the go-to expert on e-commerce customer journeys, using your insights to enhance the shopping experience on our Sony Store Online platform.

You will stay ahead of industry trends and standard processes, using this knowledge to inform strategy and drive innovation across our digital channels.

You will collaborate with regional and local teams to implement and optimize systems and processes, ensuring a world-class online experience for our customers

You will also provide a key support service to the Direct to Consumer and wider business teams, developing a deep knowledge and expertise of key systems, processes, and operations to provide advice and find opportunities for improvement and optimization.

You will bring:

  • Online Marketing experience with some sales/customer engagement exposure.
  • Familiarity contributing to Online business through forums or part of communities focused on Online Implementation Excellence.
  • Attention to detail and sense of ownership
  • A keen interest in technology and the application of technology to create business solutions.
  • Creativity, you can demonstrate good examples of previous implementation along with insights in an Online environment.
  • Analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluent in English and ideally one other major European Language.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to positively influence others and be part of a team.
  • Able to overcome conflict and ‘blocking points’ through creative thinking
  • A Growth Mindset.
