Job Description

We are looking for a Domain Product Owner to work at the forefront of our exciting Ascend Sandbox Product within our Platform, Software and Analytics for a 12 month period. This would be a fantastic secondment opportunity for the right individual.

You will be part of a high-performing and fast paced product team that delivers the product backlog of the Ascend Sandbox Roadmap. Reporting into the Product Director of Ascend Analytics, you will work closely with both Senior Product Managers and Software Engineers to both maintain existing features and usability as well as looking to drive new and cutting edge technology to scale further in existing and new exciting addressable markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring the development team delivers high-quality features that meet customer needs and our goals.
  • Work with stakeholders, including customers, developers, and business leaders, to create and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap:
  • Create, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflects the latest priorities.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into applicable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings, ensuring the development team understands the product backlog items and their priorities.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the development team during sprints to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the product meets quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience working as a Product Owner or a Senior Business Analyst
  • Evidence of working on the commercialisation of new and existing products
  • Product Platform understanding
  • Strong experience of working with AHA and Jira in a business rules committed environment
  • Agile development methodology techniques, as well as working directly with technical teams
  • Experience defining user journeys and stories, setting good quality story standards
  • Evidence of managing full project lifecycle implementation
