Your new role

This role is within the Global Outdoor Operations team, supporting the delivery of major CAPEX projects, reporting into the Programme Delivery Director.

We seek a highly organised Document Controller with expertise in Asite Adoddle document control software, knowledge of NEC contracts, and experience in the TfL, rail, or construction sectors.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-contract environment and can support high standards of documentation and compliance across NEC contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project-related documents through Asite Adoddle, ensuring systematic storage and tracking across NEC4 contracts. Implement processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide reports to the Senior Project team and Stakeholders, documenting control aspects, statuses, compliance checks, version tracking, and outstanding actions.
  • Conduct quality checks on documentation before submission
  • Enforce document control procedures in alignment with NEC standards and TfL guidelines, maintaining consistency across parties.
  • Perform audits of documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance, identifying improvement areas.
  • Train project personnel in using the system and document control procedures.

What Success Looks Like 

  • Setup and established the procedures needed to deliver a high standard document control process
  • Built strong working relationships with the global project team and contracting partners, creating a collaborative working approach
  • Developed and established reporting and tracking mechanisms that captures the relative metrics

What You’ll Need

The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:

  • 3+ years’ of document control experience within the TfL, rail or construction sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of NEC contracts and associated requirements for documentation, compliance, and reporting within TfL/rail/construction projects.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance for high-profile project documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and regular reporting to the Project Director.
  • Ability to manage multiple document control tasks efficiently, proactively resolving issues to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing NEC contract documentation
  • Advanced proficiency in Asite Adoddle document control software
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
