Job Requirements
- 8+ years in Sales Development/Business Development leadership, with a strong record of building and scaling teams
- 2+ years in SaaS
- 2+ years at Director level (or equivalent senior leadership scope)
- Demonstrated excellence building and scaling a modern SD tech ecosystem (Salesforce, Tableau, Outreach, Gong, Orum or similar), including adoption and ROI measurement
- Experience applying AI in a GTM context (or leading AI-enabled change): playbooks/workflows that blend automation with human judgement to improve outcomes
- Proven ability to drive pipeline across multiple EMEA markets with regional nuance
- Strong operating discipline: KPI management, forecasting, conversion improvement, and performance coaching
Job Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Lead EMEA Sales Development strategy: set the plan, priorities, and plays by market/segment and ensure repeatable execution across EMEA.
- Drive AI-enabled transformation: build practical AI workflows for targeting, research, personalisation, sequencing, coaching/QA and productivity, improving quality, speed, and conversion while keeping messaging human and on-brand.
- Own the SD tech stack + ROI: optimise and scale tooling (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Outreach, Gong, Orum) and prove impact through adoption, enablement, governance, and measurable ROI (conversion uplift, cycle-time reduction, pipeline influence).
- Run operational excellence: manage forecasting, weekly/monthly performance cadence, KPI health, and continuous improvement to increase velocity and impact.
- Build and develop the team: hire, coach, and grow managers/BDRs; create clear expectations, career paths, and a high-performance culture.
- Partner tightly with Marketing (ICP, personas, messaging, campaigns, inbound speed-to-lead) to create one joined-up top-of-funnel engine.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to align metrics, dashboards, territory/account hygiene, routing, attribution, and process that scales.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales leadership to drive clean handoffs, improve stage conversion, and maintain shared accountability for pipeline and quality.
