Role Profile:

RepoClear product sales specialists are accountable for the continued growth of the membership and usage of the service. They maintain important key external relationships whilst operating closely with the business and product teams to develop our product offering with a focus on our clients’ needs and demands, regulatory compliance, operational resilience and emerging data & analytics offering, enabling our revenue to grow in alignment with our strategic goals.

They belong to the cross-service clearing product sales specialist team with a focus on RepoClear.

The product specialist sales team is part of Post Trade division Global Sales and will work and support Client specialist sales with their product knowledge.

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Grows revenue from a small number of top customers and from new targeted accounts of tailored, jointly conceived or co-developed solutions based on products / solutions available across a Division or across the whole of LSEG

- Holds responsibility together with the aligned Client specialist for global or multi-country accounts

- Working closely with the relevant client sales specialist, identify new member opportunities across the client base, engaging the prospect and leading them through the sales cycle to the commencement of on boarding

- Maximises customer value by integrating complex offerings with key customer requirements with multiple applications

- Develops and maintains internal and external relationships alongside the Client Specialist with key decision makers or potential influencers including senior level executives

- Brings awareness of customer requirements back to the business to shape go-to-market plans and existing / new product development

- Develops go-to-market plans for new clients and support the execution of existing customers upsell

- Introduces senior LSEG representatives to strategically important accounts at an appropriate time

Experience and skills required:

- Must have relevant background and expertise in repo markets, including familiarity with the market participants

- Good understanding of bank scarce resource management that form part of the rationale and decision to clear

- Understand how changes in regulation may drive future opportunities or needs to adapt

- Awareness of competitive environment

- Good people skills, great teammate with a willingness to listen and use their own experience to understand the challenges of our clients
