The Director, Regional Marketing will be responsible for the EMEA marketing strategy, along with associated planning and execution of all regional marketing programs that lead to pipeline acquisition and growth and supporting attainment of revenue targets across all market segments.

You and your team will manage and deploy the entire marketing mix for your region.  You are dedicated to fostering great relationships across the business and most specifically partnerships with Sales leadership and teams.

Experienced in managing Marketing teams, this role will be expected to develop, grow, and train the next generation of marketing talent. Help us foster a collaborative work environment and display strong communication skills across functional and geographical boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading enhanced interactions and business results through the successful leadership and management of the Regional Marketers focused on driving deep relationships with the supporting sales organization.
  • Work with your regional Sales leadership team and your global marketing counterparts to create a market winning growth plan; perform market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities; analyze existing marketing programs and projects; optimize existing operations to increase productivity whilst aligning to sales strategy aimed at achieving growth targets.
  • Guide and collaborate on the digital marketing strategy and plan, with a keen eye on understanding what works in your region and adjusting as needed.
  • Be expert in Account Based Marketing programs - how they should be developed, aligned to market intent and executed, driving to results aligning with business objectives. Campaigns will form a major approach of your go-to-market and you will be used to influencing and collaborating with cross functional teams including Demand Centers on the creation, deployment and optimization of effective campaigns for your region to impact growth and velocity through the funnel. 
  • Implement organic amplification of the organization’s brand and value through PR, media and social strategy, in collaboration with the Global communications team. 
  • Develop and apply innovative Customer Marketing approaches to increase the share of wallet in existing customers.
  • Guide strategy and approach for channel partners and global systems integrators to drive mindshare, support enablement opportunities and continue the growth curve of channel contribution from our base in collaboration with Global Partner and Partner Marketing teams.
  • Build and maintain strong communication and workflow channels between Global Marketing teams and Sales teams whilst continuing to foster wider stakeholder relationships within the wider business.
  • Lead the implementation of programs and projects, setting guidelines and timelines and coordinating with managers along the way.
  • Actively track, report, and communicate ROI on a regular basis, making decisions and adjusting approaches accordingly. 
  • Own and manage the marketing budget for the region – create modelling for spend ratios aligned to pipeline targets, marketing mix, programs and activities. Work with stakeholders, counterparts, and peers to align plans, resources and budget.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of proven experience in B2B/SaaS, enterprise, or demand generation marketing in high-growth software companies, SaaS or cybersecurity organizations, and leading high performance teams.
  • Demonstrated success creating and executing go-to-market plans, inclusive of multi-media campaigns and event activations under tight timelines.
  • A comprehensive understanding of MarTech platforms and how they can be leveraged to support growth.
  • A breadth of experience; combination of digital marketing and field marketing experience required.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentations to the needs of the audience.
  • Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working and/or managing regional sales development representatives (SDR) or business development representatives (BDR) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel  >20% of the time based on location.
