Director of Proposition Marketing - Access Legal
You love turning complex products into simple, compelling stories that win hearts and minds. You are confident speaking the language of senior leaders, sales teams and customers, and you know how to bring them together behind a clear commercial plan.
You relish understanding markets, customers and buyer behaviour and spot how to create propositions that drive our commercial goals. You are strategic, but you are also hands-on. You enjoy owning the full story from vision to execution, and you are comfortable being accountable for impact. You think in terms of customer outcomes, lifetime value and growth, not just campaigns and features.

You ask good questions, you champion the customer, use data and key insights to shape decisions and are not afraid to challenge the status quo when you see a better way. You enjoy building teams, developing people and setting high standards for product marketing across a business.

This role will lead propositions and product marketing and manage a small team for our Legal business, an exciting Access business with ambitious and transformative growth plans

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead the proposition and product marketing strategy for our legal portfolio, setting clear positioning, messaging and go-to-market plans that support ambitious revenue and growth goals.

  •  Turn customer and market insight into simple, practical guidance that shapes what we build, how we sell and how we help customers get more value over time

  • Define the go to market strategy for each new proposition and product launch based on the commercial goals we seek and you will challenge and shape best practice in each instance

  • Partner with senior leaders across Product, Sales and Customer Success to drive commercial decisions, influence roadmaps and champion customer lifetime value

  • Lead transformation programmes that lift how we work, from sales enablement to value frameworks, so teams are better equipped to win, retain and grow customers.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Significant experience in product marketing or commercial roles in software, legal technology or other specialist business-to-business markets.

  • Pricing mechanics and how to use price as part of a proposition

  • Working with senior teams to incorporate acquisitions into the overall product portfolio and recommend optimum proposition design in order to achieve the required ROI

  • Experience building value stories, return-on-investment cases and customer value frameworks that support selling, renewal and expansion conversations

  • Experience leading cross-functional programmes that change how a business goes to market, including working closely with senior stakeholders.

  • A background in strategy, consulting, scaling high-growth software businesses or working with data and insight to guide commercial decisions
