Are you a decisive, high‑velocity Product Operations leader who thrives at Exec‑level altitude and turns organisational complexity into clarity, momentum, and measurable impact?

At Diligent, we’re looking for a true force‑multiplier — someone who can modernise and run the operating system that powers our Product Management, Delivery Management, and Content organisations across four business units. This highly visible leadership role is about imposing coherence, driving execution discipline, and building an operating rhythm that accelerates product teams, not slows them down.

If you bring conviction, energy, an AI‑first mindset, and the ability to transform data into direction, you’ll shape how a global product organisation plans, delivers, communicates, and scales with excellence.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

  • Build and own the operating cadence for Product, Delivery, and Content across all business units.
  • Enforce consistent processes, standards, and best practices that drive execution excellence and predictable delivery.
  • Create a single source of truth for product data, metrics, delivery performance, and user behaviour insights in partnership with Business Analytics.
  • Transform content operations into an AI‑first capability with modern tooling, automation, and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
  • Govern and report on strategic investments, including allocation, impact, and outcomes.
  • Own and optimise the tools, platforms, and technologies that support product operations across the organisation.
  • Communicate product plans, delivery progress, and outcomes clearly and credibly to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

The Essentials you'll need to get an Interview

Leadership & Operating Style

  • High energy, decisive leadership presence with a strong bias to action — not facilitative or passive.
  • Proven ability to impose structure, standards, and operating rhythm across multiple teams or business units.
  • Confident operating at GM / executive altitude with clear, opinionated recommendations — not just alignment‑driven updates.

Product & Data Mindset

  • Strong product‑centric orientation: understands product value, adoption, customer outcomes, and trade‑off decisions.
  • Deep experience using metrics, analytics, and tooling to shape product planning, delivery health, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to design and evolve an operating system that accelerates product teams, not one that is administrative or process‑heavy.

AI‑First Thinking & Experience

  • Demonstrated curiosity, practical experience, and hands‑on application of AI to product operations, workflows, or delivery optimisation.
  • Ability to define AI‑enabled processes, deploy modern tooling, and build scalable, automated systems for product and content operations.

Execution & Cross‑Functional Influence

  • End‑to‑end product delivery leadership experience, driving predictable execution in complex or multi‑BU environments.
  • Strong governance skills with the ability to track investment allocation and measure outcomes.
  • Capable of translating complex data and delivery insights into clear narratives and decisions for executives.

What This Role Is Not

(For candidate self‑selection — tailored to Adam’s feedback)

This role is not for someone who:

  • Is primarily a program manager, delivery manager, or facilitator.
  • Brings only process health or operational hygiene without product value thinking.
  • Relies on alignment over leadership.
  • Has limited exposure to AI in product workflows.
  • Is more comfortable executing with VP‑level sponsorship than influencing at GM / exec level.
