Lead product marketing for Cloudinary's Video product line, positioning the brand, crafting messaging, driving awareness, and analyzing market competition.
Cloudinary is looking for a Sr Director of Product Marketing to join our team to drive the success of our API-first Video product line. You will own and lead product marketing efforts for our analyst-recognized video offerings and are expected to bring innovative ideas and creative strategies to accelerate Cloudinary’s growth in the video space. You, as the expert, will collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate market awareness and revenue for our Video Platform and Video APIs. Come join us here at Cloudinary.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product marketing for the Cloudinary Video product line
- Position Cloudinary as a clearly differentiated Video vendor to customers, prospects, analysts
- Bring deep industry insights and subject expertise in the Video space to the product and marketing teams
- Craft compelling product messaging and stories for key use cases, industries, personas, and market segments
- Work with the corporate marketing, demand gen, CSM, and growth teams to drive awareness, campaigns, opportunities, and upsell/cross-sell for Video with prospects and current customers
- Create value-based content and sales enablement in the form of presentations, web content, blogs, datasheets, brochures, customer case studies, demos, videos, and training materials
- Launch new innovations to market with impactful storytelling and coordinate launch activities across teams
- Advise product roadmap in close partnership with product management and product strategy teams
- Represent Cloudinary at thought leadership, demand generation, and company events as a Video SME
- Advise self-serve teams on strategies for positioning, messaging, and packaging/pricing to optimize Video PLG motion
- Analyze the market and key competitors to articulate differentiators
- Work with the PR and AR teams to brief media and analysts
- Drive win/loss analysis for Video to understand why we win or lose.
About You:
- 12+ years of product marketing experience (can include product management experience)
- 5+ years experience in the video space preferred
- Must have experience with SaaS
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Experience with multiple business buyer personas, including technical buyers
- Proven creativity and messaging skills
- Highly analytical, data-driven approach
- Comfortable with both high-level strategy and hands-on work.
