The Director of Product Management will lead Cloudinary's ISV and ecosystem integrations, overseeing product ownership, technical designs, and partner satisfaction to drive revenue through integrations.
We’re hiring a technical Product Manager to own Cloudinary’s ISV and ecosystem integrations - technical product work that sits at the intersection of partner engineering, Cloudinary’s platform, and specific Cloudinary products. In this role you will be responsible for representing partner & customer needs internally, owning integration technical designs and roadmaps, and delivering and growing integrations via internal, outsourced and agentic development models. The PM will operate across both experimentation / prototypes and roadmap (operational integrations at scale) activities for specific ecosystems like CMS, PIM and MarTech.
Why this role matters
Ecosystem integrations are a strategic growth lever - enabling Cloudinary to be the single source of truth for media in the organization, and to generate repeatable ISV partner-led ARR. This role sits at the technical and commercial center of that motion: delivering partner integration experiences that both delight customers and create measurable revenue impact.
Top priorities:
- Working closely with customers and partners to understand how Cloudinary is used when integrated in customer technology stacks.
- Executing on Cloudinary’s strategic vision - to become ubiquitous as a media platform, for multiple personas in any technology stack that touches media.
- Act as the technical PM for ISV activity - lead integrations for selected CMS, PIM and MarTech vendors.
- Work closely with partners and customers to define integration scope, success criteria and adoption plans.
- Partner tightly with Product Management platform teams, to represent integrability requirements - act as an internal customer for platform enhancements that serve the integrability needs, and bring PM ownership into Product where needed.
- Define and oversee successful development of integrations - choose and run the delivery model (internal, outsourced vendors, or agentic/automated approaches), and be accountable for delivery, reliability and time-to-value - teaming up with Program management, and ecosystem Architecture, for technical oversight.
What you’ll own:
- End-to-end product ownership for ecosystem integrations - from partner discovery and technical scoping through delivery, launch and post-launch operations. This includes integration API design, contract requirements, error modes, monitoring and runbooks.
- Technical product roadmap - define integration architecture and roadmap that drives ecosystem enablement and integrates with Platform & Product requirements. Ensure integrability requirements feed into Platform roadmaps.
- Drive both exploratory and enterprise workstreams - run fast prototypes / experiments (hypothesis → prototype → evaluate) and operationalize proven integrations for scale. Measure cost, reliability and time-to-value as primary evaluation axes.
- Specify and validate the work of delivery partners & outsourcing - select, coordinate, balance cost, expertise and strategic risk when choosing internal vs external execution. Set up outsourcing for success.
- Experiment with new delivery approaches - prototype and evaluate agent-based integration patterns and MediaFlow-based blocks where appropriate to lower cost/risk for low-volume ecosystems.
- Partner GTM & adoption - work with Partnerships, Marketing, Sales and CS to build partner GTM plans, enable SIs, and drive adoption metrics tied to partner impact and ARR.
- Quality, observability & KTLO - own SLA/reliability targets for integrations and ensure KTLO items are correctly scoped and funded (operate/handoffs)
Success metrics:
- Number of validated integrations launched and successfully adopted by partners/customers.
- Revenue / ARR influenced or sourced via ecosystem integrations and partner GTM motions.
- Time-to-value for integrations (prototype → production) and cost per integration (including outsourced spend).
- Integration reliability / uptime and operational MTTR.
- Partner satisfaction and enablement metrics (SI enablement, certifications, partner referrals).
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years in product management, preferably with direct experience building integrations, app marketplaces, partner products or ISV developer experiences. (Director-level experience is helpful for coordinating across Product, Platform and R&D).
- Strong technical fluency - APIs, webhooks, authentication patterns (OAuth), data models (CMS/PIM/content schemas), message flows and integration testing strategies.
- Experience working with ISVs and SIs - particularly DAM, CMS, PIM, MarTech ecosystems (or equivalent enterprise SaaS integrations).
- Proven track record of delivering through outsourced vendors and delivery partners, including scoping, vendor selection, SLAs and contract management.
- Strong partner & stakeholder management skills - able to align Product, R&D, Partnerships, Sales and CS around integration priorities and tradeoffs.
- Comfortable with experimentation: define hypotheses, run fast pilots, and make scale/KTLO tradeoffs based on measured results.
- Excellent written & verbal communications, and experience producing technical requirements, PRDs and runbooks. Experience supporting GTM plans is a plus.
Behaviors & leadership:
- Operates as a full owner for integrations product management: drives clarity, simplifies tradeoffs and consistently pushes to measurable outcomes
- Pragmatic about build vs buy vs agentic models - chooses the delivery approach that minimizes risk and maximizes partner value.
- Able to influence senior stakeholders across Product, R&D and GTM functions and negotiate tradeoffs at the organizational level.
