As Senior Director, Portfolio Sales – Biotech, you will be a senior commercial leader responsible for shaping and executing Clario’s Biotech go‑to‑market strategy. You will partner closely with Business Unit leaders, Sales, Business Development, and Scientific teams to deliver integrated, portfolio‑level solutions that drive growth, deepen client partnerships, and position Clario as a strategic, long‑term partner to Biotech sponsors.
This role requires a seasoned, resilient commercial leader with deep experience navigating the complexities of the clinical and biotech ecosystem, capable of collaborating at the highest levels internally and externally to enable sustained sales success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive strategic growth in the Biotech segment, focusing on new logo acquisition and expansion of existing Biotech accounts

  • Develop and execute account strategies tailored to Biotech sponsors, ensuring inclusion of Clario’s full suite of capabilities

  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships within Biotech organisations to position Clario as a trusted partner

  • Coordinate commercial teams across business units to deliver integrated solutions for Biotech clients

  • Identify multi-service opportunities within Biotech pipelines and align with internal BD and scientific SMEs

  • Lead win strategies for complex Biotech opportunities, including multi-service and multi-CRO scenarios

  • Analyse Biotech market trends and client pipelines to anticipate needs and propose innovative solutions

  • Maintain accurate activity records in Salesforce and deliver timely reports and account plans

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Delivery Management, Logistics, Customer Care) to ensure exceptional client experience

  • Represent Clario at Biotech-focused industry events and forums to strengthen market presence

What We Look For

  • Degree‑level education or equivalent experience

  • 8–12+ years of progressive commercial experience within Biotech, CRO, or life sciences technology environments

  • Demonstrated success selling complex, multi‑solution technology and services to Biotech sponsors

  • Proven ability to lead and close long, high‑stakes sales cycles involving senior scientific and executive stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of clinical development, trial endpoints, and Biotech decision‑making dynamics

  • Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship‑building skills with MDs, PhDs, and executive leaders

  • High level of resilience, maturity, and judgment in fast‑moving, high‑pressure environments

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently while aligning broadly across matrixed teams

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
