Global leadership for Program Management processes (PLUS)

Leading the Program Management Office for EMEA, providing functional leadership for the Program Management community with a focus on processes and systems.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Global leadership for the Adient PLUS Processes and leading global Program Management Steering Committee.
  • Analyze PLUS specific change requests – review, align globally and disposition.
  • Lead continuous improvements of PLUS including alignment with latest IATF-standards.
  • Facilitate and support executive program red-flag reviews.
  • Conduct Program Management community knowledge survey, identify needs and knowledge gaps and develop solutions and trainings for gap closure.
  • Create training-material and tutorials for the PLUS processes.
  • Support internal and external PLUS process audits. (TÜV, TISAX…)
  • Leading and providing direction and guidance for PMO staff.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Business.
  • Professional qualification of Program and Portfolio Management
  • (Certificate in Program management from PMI, IPMA, Prince2 or equivalent).
  • Fluent in English
  • At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing preferably automotive industries.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the automotive industry, ideally in Complete Seat, Metal, Foam or Trim.
  • Leading a minimum of 5 new product launches. At least 1 complex launch including design and complex bill of materials.

Preferred:

  • Experience with ADIENT or an automotive Tier 1 supplier.
  • Proven capability to develop and deliver program management training courses.
  • At least 2 years of experience in PMO role.
  • Proven track record of experience in leadership, general management and communication.
  • Expert in “Project Management Knowledge Areas” example: Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide).
  • Ideally have knowledge about Business Operating System (BOS) and deep knowledge about PLUS Procedures, -Standards, -Forms, -Work Instructions.
  • Knowledge in MS-Office applications like MS-Project, EXCEL, TEAMS, SharePoint, One-Note, Forms, Planner, Streams.

Other:

  • Ability to summarize and present complex topics to leadership audience.
  • Ability to facilitate global, x-functional discussions and drive conclusions and decisions.
  • Experience with multiple cultures and organizational setups.
  • A strong leader with the ability to independently assess communicate and address potential program risks, even if not yet recognized by program teams.
