Director, People Business Partner, Vocalink Limited
Overview• Provides People & Capability (P&C) excellence for Vocalink Limited, a regulated business via the Bank of England• Partners with business leaders to advance the business and drive performance and works in alignment with the Vocalink people strategy• Works with Centres of Expertise (COEs) and the Global Business Service Centre (GBSC) to ensure programs, processes and initiatives are successfully implemented and managed
Responsibilities• Delivers a people strategy that supports business priorities and growth strategies • Partners with business leaders on change management initiatives that support the business strategy and maintain employee engagement• Provides advice, coaching and support to executives, managers and employees on talent, development, employee relations, workforce planning and reward• Responsible for the management and delivery of core People and Capability programs • Partners closely with other Business Partner colleagues to ensure the consistent and seamless delivery of programs and services to the business • Provides in-depth market insight and advises on talent implications of external trends that may have workforce implications• Works closely with COEs to deliver programs and customize when necessary. Shares feedback on the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.• Serves as subject matter expert on the local labour market and regulatory environment• Navigates strict governance requirements and audit expectations to ensure that P&C decisions withstand external scrutiny• Maintains rigorous documentation and tight partnership with legal, risk and operational leaders• Manages the 1st line Risk and Control P&C process, identifying and managing people-related risks and ensuring appropriate controls are in place• Attending Steering Committees and deputising for Vice President, People & Capability as appropriate
Experiences• Experience managing local P&C/HR operations for a market including delivering on talent forecasts, succession planning progress and talent review updates.• Demonstrated success when advising and coaching business leaders and other stakeholders on the local P&C environment, market best-practices and all day-to-day employment matters.• Demonstrated success building relationships and collaborating with COEs and other key stakeholders• Demonstrated success working in a regulated business (ideal)• Demonstrated success of risk and control management (ideal)
