The Director of Partnerships & Alliances - EMEA is the architect of our strategic and commercial partner ecosystem, owning the overarching strategy and executive level relationships for the region. You will lead a high-impact team of Strategic Alliance Executives and drive the overarching strategy with our Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners across EMEA. This leader focuses on ensuring long-term success and rigorous partner alignment with Workiva’s organisational goals through high-level business planning and partner innovation. This role requires a bold strategist who can navigate cross-functional coordination across marketing, product, and legal to achieve sustainable, commercial growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Strategic Alliance Executives

  • Drive significant alliance performance and partner adoption by engaging strategically with Sales and championing co-selling initiatives within GSI organisations

  • Lead and champion comprehensive cross-functional partnership programs in collaboration within Workiva’s GTM ecosystem to achieve strategic and commercial objectives

  • Deliver exceptional results, consistently achieving and surpassing ambitious revenue goals and key metrics that drive significant mutual business growth for Workiva and our GSI partners

  • Empower and cultivate a high-performing team, providing ongoing coaching, development, and strategic guidance to foster a culture of excellence and maximise individual and collective impact

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business planning to ensure long-term partner alignment with Workiva's goals

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related experience in software and/or SaaS Alliance leadership and/or consulting

  • 5+ years of team management experience

  • Proven experience and established relationships developing and executing alliance and GSI strategies across a diverse partner ecosystem

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interacting cross-functionally in a matrix-oriented environment critical (including sales, services, product, customer success, marketing, and operations)

  • Exceptional business acumen across core EMEA markets

  • Proven ability to develop and execute a strategy involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strategic mindset and ability to identify ways to successfully develop and execute a strategy

  • Ability to set goals with clear success measures

  • Ability to engage and collaborate with senior leaders and external GSI partners

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving/critical thinking skills

Travel Requirement & Working Conditions

  • Up to 40% travel across EMEA for customer, partner and internal events

  • Reliable internet access required for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
