About Coca‑Cola

Everybody knows Coca‑Cola. But it’s our people who bring the magic to life every day.

This is your opportunity to join The Coca‑Cola Company and help drive the growth of some of the world’s most iconic brands. We’re looking for a bold and commercially minded media leader — someone who thrives in complexity, understands the evolving media ecosystem, and is passionate about turning insight into action across a diverse portfolio of brands and stakeholders.

Role Purpose

The Director, Media – GB&I is a senior media thought leader responsible for shaping and leading media and connections strategy across all Coca‑Cola brands in Great Britain & Ireland.

This role translates Global and Europe OU media and connections frameworks into insight‑driven, locally relevant strategies that integrate seamlessly with brand ambition, commercial priorities, and consumer behaviour. The Director owns the end‑to‑end local media strategy, provides leadership across activation, and stewards best‑in‑class agency and media partner relationships to maximize impact and investment effectiveness.

What You’ll Do for Us

Media & Connections Leadership

  • Lead the end‑to‑end media, digital, and connections strategy across all TCCC brands in GB&I.
  • Define the annual media vision, priorities, and channel strategies to deliver against key brand and business KPIs.
  • Translate Global and Europe OU frameworks into high‑quality, consumer‑centric, locally relevant media strategies.
  • Ensure strong integration across disciplines including social, influencer, experiential, PR, content, sponsorship, and customer activation.

Strategy, Performance & Governance

  • Oversee media performance monitoring, reporting, and optimization, ensuring clear visibility of brand presence and ROI.
  • Lead media DME coordination, delivering actionable insights to Brand, Creative, Commercial, and Leadership teams.
  • Drive forecasting, budget management, investment shifts, and governance compliance.
  • Ensure robust compliance with TCCC Responsible Marketing Policy across all channels.
  • Lead audit discussions with external partners and agencies to ensure best value and investment effectiveness.

Agency & Partner Management

  • Own and manage the media agency relationship, ensuring disciplined operations, high‑quality delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate agency ways of working across markets to ensure efficiency, consistency, and timely execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners and partners, keeping TCCC at the forefront of innovation and opportunity.
  • Support routine collaboration and communications with bottling partners.

People Leadership

  • Support the wider IMX and media team (Senior managers) across media, digital, social, and connections.
  • Foster a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor within the broader marketing and commercial leadership community.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in media planning, digital, or integrated connections (client‑side and/or agency).
  • Proven track record delivering full‑funnel, connected, and performance‑driven media strategies.
  • Deep expertise across the media ecosystem, including digital, programmatic, data‑driven advertising, social, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong strategic influencing skills with the ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and shape brand and creative strategy at local market level.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and negotiating multi‑channel media plans and managing senior‑level vendor relationships.
  • Extensive cross‑functional collaboration across brand, creative, digital, PR, content, sponsorships, and customer activation teams alongside EU media leads.

What We Can Do for You

  • Opportunity to shape the media and digital future of Coca Cola in a strategically important European market.
  • High visibility with Europe OU media leaders, and global media teams.
  • Work across creative, brand, digital, PR, content, sponsorships, and customer activation.
