We’re looking for someone to build and lead the marketing team for Affirm, as we expand into the UK. This person will be a key member of the UK and International organization, responsible for growing both consumer awareness and conversion as well as driving merchant awareness and lead generation. Reporting to the VP, UK Country Manager, this person will work closely to ensure alignment with Affirm’s global brand strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the Affirm marketing team to align the local marketing strategy to overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement full funnel marketing strategies and plans aimed at delivering sustainable and profitable growth, including budget and KPI setting, with plans that may include paid search, other digital media as well as social, influencer and content marketing.
  • Build strategies for ongoing customer and merchant engagement.
  • Work with key local and global team members to refine our understanding of the UK's core customer and merchant segments and the brand/product positioning that resonates in the market.
  • Utilize data-driven methodology, analysis, and measurement to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing spend and performance channels.
  • Partner with global marketing teams to ensure alignment with global brand strategy and relevant brand campaigns and to leveral centralized resources when required.

What We Look For

  • 9+ years of marketing experience building brands and businesses from awareness to conversion.
  • Customer obsessed and analytical: Experience in translating qualitative and quantitative customer data into insights and actions.
  • Strong bias for action and can-do attitude, with the ability (and curiosity) to connect the dots between different workstreams, data sources, and teams to get things done.
  • Proven experience building and developing marketing teams as well as cross functional relationships across teams - both locally and globally.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment, and the ability to drive your team autonomously and deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in global marketing teams preferred.
