About the Role
NinjaOne is seeking a Director, Marketing Transformation & PMO who will lead the program management function for a fast-scaling marketing organization and own the integrated campaigns function through a direct report. This role builds and owns the operating infrastructure the org runs on — the project management discipline, planning cadences, global standards, and transformation initiatives that keep marketing executing consistently across teams, regions, and segments — while ensuring integrated campaigns run through that same disciplined operating model.
The focus is delivery: standing up a marketing PMO where none exists today, building Centers of Excellence that establish global standards across multiple functions, owning the OKR framework that sets and connects the org's priorities to the work, driving the AI transformation, and leading the integrated campaigns function through the Director, Integrated Campaigns. The role turns strategy set by marketing leadership into repeatable, well-managed programs — and is measured on the quality, speed, and consistency of execution across the marketing organization, including the campaigns that bring priority audiences, industries, and products to market.
Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA.
What You’ll be Doing
Program & Project Management (PMO)
- Build and lead the marketing PMO — establishing intake, prioritization, planning, resourcing, and delivery-tracking standards across all marketing teams, regions, and segments.
- Own the marketing Asana practice as the system of record for programs and projects; set conventions and ensure adoption org-wide.
- Manage cross-functional programs end to end — surfacing dependencies, risks, and timeline conflicts, and driving them to resolution before they impact delivery.
- Provide portfolio-level visibility to marketing leadership on the status, health, and progress of major initiatives.
- Apply PMO frameworks, sprint-based/agile project management methodologies, and RACI models to structure how marketing plans, resources, assigns, and tracks work.
OKRs & Goal-to-Execution Alignment
- Design, stand up, and own the marketing OKR framework — the system for setting goals and priorities and cascading them across all teams, regions, and segments.
- Connect goals to work: create and maintain the explicit line of sight from org-level OKRs down to the projects and initiatives running in the PMO, so every major program traces to a priority and every priority has owned, tracked work behind it.
- Run the goal-setting and prioritization cadence — facilitate target-setting, keep priorities current as the business shifts, and flag work that is not tied to a stated goal.
- Report on progress against OKRs to marketing leadership, tying execution status back to outcomes.
Marketing Transformation & AI
- Own the marketing AI transformation program — drive adoption of AI tools and workflows across functions and regions.
- Establish tracking and reporting on transformation progress, and manage internal communications that surface wins and share best practices.
- Identify and lead process-improvement and automation initiatives that increase the org's output and efficiency.
Centers of Excellence (net-new build)
- Design, launch, and manage Centers of Excellence that codify and align global standards. These do not exist today and are a core build for this role:
- Corporate Events — standards for booths, on-site execution, and event operations.
- Channel Marketing — shared playbooks and global consistency.
- Field Marketing — best practices, swag, and brand-consistent physical presence across regions.
Integrated Campaigns
- Ensure integrated campaigns run through the marketing PMO's intake, prioritization, resourcing, and delivery-tracking standards, and trace to the marketing OKR framework.
- Partner with the Director, Integrated Campaigns to keep the campaign calendar and cross-functional orchestration — Creative, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Corporate Comms, and Digital Marketing— on the same planning cadence as the rest of marketing.
- Include integrated campaigns in portfolio-level reporting to marketing leadership alongside other PMO-managed programs.
Planning Cadence & QBRs
- Program-manage planning offsites for all teams — agendas, structure, logistics, and team-building.
- Own QBR planning — structure, timeline, content coordination, and readiness.
- Reporting line — reports jointly to the SVP, Revenue Marketing and the VP, Corporate Marketing.
- Direct reports — the marketing Asana / PMO program manager and the Director, Integrated Campaigns report into this role.
- Scope — operates across all marketing functions, regions, and segments through program ownership, defined standards, and direct leadership of the integrated campaigns function.
What Success Looks Like
- A functioning PMO is live and adopted, with consistent intake, prioritization, and delivery tracking across marketing.
- A clear OKR framework is in place and every major initiative traces to a stated goal — leadership can see, at any time, how work maps to priorities.
- Major programs run predictably, with clear visibility and fewer last-minute escalations.
- AI adoption across marketing is measurably accelerating, with progress and wins tracked and shared.
- Centers of Excellence are established and setting global standards where none existed.
- Integrated campaigns launch on time, on strategy, and with performance reporting that clearly ties back to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
About You
- Seasoned program/project management leader or Chief of Staff within a marketing, revenue, or GTM organization.
- Track record building PMO discipline and operating cadences in environments that lacked them.
- Hands-on expertise with project management tooling (e.g., Asana); strong on process design and standardization.
- Deep knowledge of PMO frameworks, sprint/agile project management methodologies, and RACI-based accountability models.
- Experience leading transformation, automation, or AI-adoption initiatives strongly preferred.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management; credible with senior leaders and Finance.
- Experience managing or closely partnering with an integrated campaigns/demand marketing leader; strong grasp of B2B SaaS integrated campaign strategy, planning, and measurement.
- High ownership and bias to action — comfortable building structure and driving programs to completion.
- People-leadership experience — comfortable setting direction for and holding accountable a director-level direct report leading a full function.
