You will ensure tight alignment with Procurement and Finance to enhance Marketing’s ability to invest in the right partners, channels and programs that fuel pipeline creation.

  • Assist in the development of multi-year budgets based on negotiated contracts.
  • Support negotiation and contracting of high-value marketing contracts.
  • Drive implementation and ongoing enhancement of the budget management platform to improve marketing investment effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve Marketing’s financial and procurement operations.
    • Establish clear documentation, training, and process guidance for marketing teams.
    • Facilitate implementation of procurement change initiatives to improve business performance.
    • Drive change adoption by aligning stakeholders and enabling smooth rollout of new processes.
  • Troubleshoot procurement bottlenecks, exceptions, and escalations.
  • Establish and lead a community of procurement champions within Marketing, providing support, guidance, and mentorship to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate complex marketing procurement challenges.

Governance & Compliance

  • Drive Marketing adoption and compliance of services agreements, MSAs and SOWs.
  • Manage and routinely audit supplier lists to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure suppliers align with the company’s Responsible Sourcing Program (RSP) requirements, promoting sustainability, ethical practices, and inclusion.
  • Ensure suppliers meet AVEVAs Decent Work standards.
  • Advance alignment to corporate decarbonisation targets by assessing supplier environmental performance and supporting transition to lower‑carbon partners and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all procurement activities.

Essential Requirement

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Procurement or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus.

  • Financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and delivering cost efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., Oracle).
  • Clear, proactive communication style with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
