About the Role


The Director of International Marketing will play a pivotal role in expanding Attentive’s marketing presence and driving revenue growth across international markets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement comprehensive marketing programs that encompass digital and offline channels. The successful candidate will lead a team of two direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Devise and implement a comprehensive international marketing strategy that aligns with overall business objectives. Adapt strategies to align with local and cultural nuances of prioritized target markets. Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across organic and paid digital channels, events, content marketing, and partnerships
  • Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing: Implement effective lead generation strategies to attract and convert potential customers in international markets. Develop and manage lead nurturing programs to guide prospects through the sales funnel. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to ensure alignment and maximize conversion rates
  • Content Strategy & Localization: Develop a content strategy that resonates with international audiences, ensuring content is localized and culturally relevant. Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content across various formats (blog posts, whitepapers, videos, infographics). Manage the adaptation of marketing materials for different markets
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of two direct reports managing content and campaign marketing. Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve their individual and collective goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Budget Management & Performance Tracking: Develop and manage the international marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using relevant KPIs and analytics tools. Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and ROI
  • Market Research & Insights: Work with the market research team to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.Stay abreast of emerging marketing technologies and best practices
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support business goals. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside of Attentive

Your Expertise

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in international marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving growth and brand awareness in global markets
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences and the ability to adapt communication and marketing strategies accordingly
