The role:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Institutional Sales to help drive our fundraising efforts and strengthen our relationships with the broader investment community. This role is critical to articulating our growth story, engaging current and prospective investors, and supporting capital strategy in a fast-paced startup environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing due diligence processes, coupled with an established network of family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and strategic investors. You will partner closely with the executive team to develop compelling narratives, prepare investor materials, and ensure transparent communication throughout the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraising & Investor Engagement

    • Leverage your existing network to identify, cultivate, and expand relationships with family offices, high-net-worth individualsand strategic investors.

    • Support fundraising campaigns, roadshows, and one-on-one investor meetings.

    • Craft and deliver compelling presentations, pitch decks, and financial updates that communicate our vision and growth trajectory.

  • Due Diligence & Capital Process Management

    • Support the investor due diligence process, including data room preparation, financial documentation, and strategic Q&A.

    • Partner with legal, finance, and executive leadership to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all materials shared with investors.

    • Anticipate investor questions and proactively address information gaps.

  • Investor Communications

    • Serve as a key point of contact for current and prospective investors.

    • Share and respond to quarterly updates, investor letters, and ad hoc communications that highlight milestones, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.

    • Ensure consistency of messaging across all investor interactions.

  • Market Insights & Storytelling

    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and investor sentiment to help position the company strategically.

    • Advise the leadership team on investor expectations and fundraising best practices.

    • Continuously refine our narrative to resonate with the venture ecosystem.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in investor relations, venture capital, investment banking, or startup fundraising.

  • Proven track record supporting capital raises and managing due diligence processes.

  • Strong network within the venture capital and growth investment community.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and strategic concepts into clear, persuasive narratives.

  • High level of adaptability and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment
