What you will do :

As the Indirect Sales Director for the Controls business across Europe, you will be responsible for accelerating growth and maximizing profitability throughout the indirect sales channel. Your primary mission is to lead the overall strategy, expansion, and performance of our distribution and channel partner network, driving increased market share and revenue within the Controls segment across diverse European markets. You will align regional sales teams and stakeholders, set ambitious objectives and targets, and closely monitor performance to ensure sustainable growth.

You will provide strategic direction, guidance, and resources to sales teams, empowering them for success. Analyzing market trends and competitive activities, you will identify and capitalize on new opportunities for expansion and differentiation throughout Europe.

By collaborating cross-functionally—with product management, marketing, and other stakeholders—you will drive new product launches and promotional initiatives that engage channel partners and end customers. You will be responsible for the ongoing development and training of the sales force, building advanced selling capabilities and enhancing customer engagement. As a director, you will lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of business ethics and integrity.

How you will do it :

· Develop and execute Europe-wide strategic sales plans to significantly grow the indirect Controls business, in alignment with corporate objectives.

· Accelerate the recruitment, development, and performance of channel partners and distributors across all major European markets.

· Foster collaboration and share best practices among regional sales teams to maximize operational efficiency and sales effectiveness.

· Utilize data-driven insights to identify high-potential markets, segments, and partners, adjusting strategies accordingly.

· Oversee the launch of new products and deployment of marketing campaigns, ensuring all sales resources are fully leveraged.

· Monitor sales performance and key metrics, adjusting tactics to exceed revenue and market share targets.

· Deliver ongoing sales training and development programs, with a strong focus on Controls solutions and consultative selling.

· Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with channel partners, distributors, and strategic customers to drive growth and loyalty.

· Provide high-level support for complex sales opportunities, drawing on your technical and commercial expertise.

· Track industry trends and competitive moves, translating market intelligence into actionable strategies.

· Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and progress updates to senior management.

What we look for:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

· 10+ years of sales management experience in the Controls, Automation, or Building Technologies industry, ideally within indirect sales/channel partner environments.

· Track record of building, leading, and developing successful sales teams and partner networks.

· Demonstrated success in driving revenue, market share, and partner engagement across multiple European countries.

· Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a metrics-driven approach.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills at all levels.

· Fluency in English required; additional European languages are highly advantageous.

· High ethical standards and business integrity.
