JOB TITLE: Director – Head of Commercial Performance & Effectiveness

LOCATIONS: Birmingham / Glasgow / Leeds / London

HOURS: Full Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About This Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Head of Commercial Performance & Effectiveness, to join our Commercial Cards team.

This is a senior leadership role where you'll be accountable for leading the commercially focused elements of the commercial card business including portfolio and sales performance, commercial strategy, data, pricing and contract management.

You'll partner with our Finance, Sales and Digital teams as well as Product and Operational teams to drive strong commercial outcomes aligned to the business strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Cards, you’ll play a key role as part of the Commercial Card Leadership Team.

This role provides a great opportunity to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking team and play a key role in shaping and delivering the business strategy. The Commercial Card business is transforming and growing, so there couldn't be a better time to join us!

Your Accountabilities Will Include:

  • Own and drive the commercial strategy

  • Oversight and management of the end-to-end P&L

  • Ensuring pricing strategy and methodology reflect business outcomes

  • Drive understanding and track portfolio performance to inform the strategy

  • Partner closely with Finance and Sales teams to accurately track and report progress

  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring the team to enable high performance

  • Managing customer contracts and ensuring performance in line with standards and terms

  • Knowledge of Cards payment rails and funding models
