Job Description:

The Global Business Ethics Director leads the company’s global Anti-Corruption and Business Ethics Third Party Programs, ensuring compliance with international laws, regulations, and industry best practices while promoting a strong culture of integrity across all functions and geographies.

As a strategic partner to senior leadership, the role provides governance, oversight, and expert guidance on ethics and compliance matters, with a particular focus on third-party risk management, program governance, training, monitoring, and reporting.

The position is responsible for defining and driving program strategy, overseeing global third-party due diligence processes and systems, and continuously enhancing best-in-class frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory and business expectations. The Global Business Ethics Director serves as the primary point of contact for senior management and governance bodies, leads cross-functional committees, manages key external vendors, and supports external program certifications.

The role also ensures the effective communication and deployment of Anti-Corruption and Third Party standards worldwide, supports the development of training for employees and third parties, and oversees program monitoring, analytics, and reporting. Regular insights and risk assessments are provided to senior management to enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of Ethics and Compliance experience within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a proven ability to manage complex ethical and compliance risks in a global, cross-functional environment are essential. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported; where we embrace “The Real Us”. The value we place on different perspectives and experiences drives our commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities. When we include diverse ways of thinking, we make more thoughtful decisions and discover more innovative solutions. Together we strive to better understand the communities we serve. This means we also want to help you perform at your best when applying for a role with us. If you require any adjustments or support during the application process, please let the recruitment team know. This information will be handled with care and will not affect the outcome of your application.
