About the Role

As Operations Director, you will lead the service and systems operations across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics for our HVAC-R, Fire Suppression, and Building Automation domains. Reporting to the General Manager for UKI&N, you’ll be a key member of the Building Technology & Solutions leadership team, driving operational excellence and profitable growth in alignment with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and align service and systems operations with our operating model.

  • Build and scale operational capabilities to enhance performance, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with EMEA Operational Excellence teams to deliver consistent, high-quality execution.

  • Drive margin expansion and process improvements to support sustainable growth.

  • Oversee project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Leverage data analytics and automation to optimize operations.

What You Bring

  • Proven track record in operational leadership within install & service businesses.

  • 20+ years of experience managing senior teams, with recent leadership roles in UKI and ideally the Nordics.

  • Deep technical expertise in HVAC-R, Building Automation, or Fire Suppression.

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically.

  • Experience in multi-functional leadership, including operations, service, and systems.

  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Skilled in implementing best practices, new technologies, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
