Location Overview 

The Cboe office in London is situated in The Monument Building, a modern space that spans two floors and features a spacious outdoor balcony. From the balcony, employees can enjoy stunning views of some of London's most iconic architectural landmarks, adding a unique touch to the work environment. The building is equipped with convenient amenities for office commuters, including bike storage and showers, making it easy for staff to freshen up after their commute. Its prime location in the heart of London's financial district ensures that employees have easy access to a variety of cafes, restaurants, and shops, creating an ideal balance of work and leisure. 

 

The office is located directly adjacent to the historic Monument to the Great Fire of London and is just across the street from the Monument Underground Station. This provides convenient transport links, with access to the West End in less than 15 minutes. The location blends the vibrancy of central London with the business-centric atmosphere of the City, making it an attractive hub for professionals. 

 

Role Overview 

This European Equity Sales position will work within the Cboe Europe Equity Sales team and will have responsibility for increasing adoption and usage of Cboe’s products across a portfolio of existing and prospective customers in primarily based in London.  Reporting to the European Equities Head of Sales, the location of the role will be based at our London location next to Monument Underground Station. 

 

In this role you’ll be responsible for 

  • Sales/Client Management of all Equity Trading products to existing and prospective customers primarily based in London’s financial district 

  • Establishing and developing key Senior relationships within existing and new prospective accounts for Cboe  

  • Helping Cboe develop itself as a global/local Exchange operator by representing Cboe through the network of contacts within your portfolio of regions  

  • Attendance of , financial industry events in London and when applicable abroad, and the preparation and delivery of pitch presentations to clients and prospects of existing and new Cboe innovations 

  • Day to day monitoring of client trading activity, promoting key messages on positive and negative trading observations  

  • Working closely with the Execution Consulting Team to contribute to and present quantitative insights to your portfolio in order to grow participation  

  • Leading and managing of troubleshooting of client trading issues in collaboration with internal Cboe teams  

  • Identify sales opportunities by researching and analysing product fit / competitive positioning.   

  • Maintain 100% standards on CRM and contact management   

  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events   

  • Liaison with Marketing and Communications team to deliver key messages to customers.   

 

The ideal candidate has 

  • Previous experience in Electronic Trading or Trading Technology Sales  

  • Experience selling to a portfolio of either Sell Side or Buy Side clients   

  • Proven track record of delivering results and building high quality customer relationships within a fast-paced target driven environment  

  • Strong proven interpersonal skills  

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer service skills  

  • Desire to learn securities business and Cboe technology/philosophy  

  • Trading market structure experience  

  • Strong team working and collaboration skills  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills   

  • Strong organisational skills  

  • Competence in use of analytical tools such as Tableau, or SIGMA, proficient in use of Excel to perform ad hoc, bespoke client analysis along with presentations in PowerPoint  

  • Well established experience with CRM / Sales Management and Reporting tools (such as Salesforce or equivalent).   

  • Registered Representative Trading Qualifications (preferred)
