We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Architect to take ownership of defining and managing architectural standards, guiding the design and direction of architecture for business and technical domains. In this role, you will lead efforts to develop and communicate domain-specific architecture and deliver innovative architectural solutions for projects and programs.
As a key contributor, you will be responsible for identifying creative approaches to solving complex business and IT challenges, driving innovation, and accelerating transformational business outcomes.


 

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  • Minimum 18 years in IT and played various roles like technical/solution architect, Enterprise Architect, leadership, consultant, and program/ project management.
  • Broad technology skills/ background (for example, the mix of skills in the areas of cloud, integration, software development, ERP, infrastructure, and security. The more, the better)
  • Ability to oversee all architectural activities and governance, review demands/ solutions for new technology introductions and technology evaluation and set enterprise standards to ensure IT investments are driven by business priorities.
  • Setting up and refining the EA function, framework etc
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with leaders, architects, and SMEs at all levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop rapport with key stakeholders and drive outcomes.
  • Experience running/hosting Architecture Community of Practice events and familiarity with the TOGAF/ArchiMate framework.
  • Excellent presentation and documentation skills, with experience drafting executive communications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology field.
  • 15+ years and above experience in the areas of IT, with 10 years of experience Architecture experience.
  •  Should as well be able to provide enterprise guidelines for application, platform capacity and recommendations, set standards on emerging infrastructure tech in pharma & industry.
  • Deep, hands-on technical and operational expertise with IT technologies and Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ARCHIMATE).
  • Excellent knowledge of business processes, experience in regulated system environment and ability to “speak the business language” when talking about IT subjects and successful global project management experience with distributed teams.
  • Experience/Exposure with Global Drug Development Domain Architecture is a plus
  •  Experience with Systems/Technologies related to GDD/Development for all sub verticals such as Safety, Regulatory, Clinical Operations etc.
  • Experience with any Modernizing efforts related to Global drug development is a plus.
