The Global Director of Creator Marketing will lead all our brand, product, social + growth marketing to acquire, retain, and grow creators, podcasters, publishers, and creatives worldwide on Spotify. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about the creator economy & driving innovation, an excellent collaborator, and an effective operator and team manager. This position reports to the VP, Podcast Business. 

What You'll Do

  • Craft the vision & strategyDefine the global positioning, narrative, and go-to-market plans that make Spotify the most rewarding home for podcasters, video creators, and the next wave of creativity.
  • Develop & lead a high-performing teamBuild a world-class team to execute on and scale up Spotify’s creator mission, delivering bold & effective marketing ideas.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for key product launchesDrive adoption of priority product features through marketing-led strategies.
  • Own full-funnel creator growthArchitect the Spotify for Creators brand and campaigns - paid, earned, and owned - that attract new creators, activate them on-platform, and nurture their long-term success.
  • Design programs that prove our value propositionFrom educational content to marquee events, demonstrate how Spotify helps creators grow, connect, and monetize.
  • Champion data- & creator-driven creativitySet an ambitious test-and-learn agenda fueled by insights and spend time with creators and publishers weekly to guide priorities.
  • Become a trusted leader for cross-functional collaborationWork hand-in-hand with Product, Content, Advertising, Subscriptions, and Public Affairs teams to ship bold ideas effectively and globally. Collaborate with the Consumer teams to achieve end-to-end storytelling.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years leading marketing or growth organizations
  • Proven track record growing. cultivating and retaining a community of creators at a large-scale, global platform
  • Expertise in media buying, content marketing, community, and influencer programs
  • Creative taste and cultural fluency, capable of adapting communication for diverse creator cohorts, publishers, partners, and creatives.
  • Inspirational team leader who can attract, coach, and retain top talent
  • Effective communicator, collaborator, and operator who can manage in fast-paced environments and influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organization

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in New York, New York or London, UK
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
  • We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.

The United States base range for this position is $232,130- $290,162, plus equity (plus bonus or commission. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays.
