We are seeking an experienced Director of Commercial systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce growth, development and architecture, with a proven track record of leading strategical technical initiatives and multiple teams.

You will be responsible for liaising with the business to capture, design and implement exceptional commercial solutions that exceed business requirements whilst ensuring best practices in development and deployment are adhered to. Additional commercial experience in market research would be viewed as highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial systems delivery capability (Salesforce, CLM, D&B for instance)
• Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop strategies.
• Developing and Implementing Strategies: Creating and executing commercial strategies that align with the company's goals to promote growth.
• Accountability for the design, development, and implementation of the CPS commercial system solutions.
• Collaboration: Working closely with various departments such as marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure cohesive business operations.
• Direct multiple teams (3rd party and internal resources) to the deliver the strategic aims of the company
• Provide career development guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
• Be the escalation point for technical issues related to Salesforce applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and technologies.
• Manage integration with third-party applications and services.
• Owner of technical documentation & training documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Commercial system leadership with emphasis on Salesforce development and administration.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (Mulesoft/REST/SOAP APIs).
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Developer) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple vendors
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of data modelling and database design.
• Knowledge of integration with Mulesoft.
