Job Description

What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Tax team in London, which is responsible for providing high quality compliance and advisory services to our portfolio of corporate clients and private equity houses. This role requires an experienced corporate tax professional who can take responsibility for client relationships and delivering projects as well as providing leadership and direction across the team.

As a Director your responsibilities will include among others

  • Providing suitable strategic and technical advice and guidance to clients with regard to their tax affairs
  • Management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and business focused approaches are taken
  • Taking overall responsibility and accountability for a group of clients. Leading and managing the relationship with clients, with the aim of developing new business from your current client base and beyond.
  • Ensuring compliance, quality and risk policies are adhered to
  • Responsible for the day to day management of your direct reports and providing leadership and mentoring for junior members of the team

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have

  • Extensive experience of providing complex business tax services to clients within a variety of sectors, gained within a professional services firm
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and advisory best practices.
  • Demonstrable experience of generating and developing new business and key relationships
  • Strong technical leadership
  • Experience and knowledge of staff management

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser
