Your Role

The “Head of Corporate Systems Technology” is a pivotal leadership role within CLS, responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s suite of corporate systems. These include systems supporting finance, human resources (HR), procurement, third-party risk management, and resource planning systems. This individual will lead the operational excellence of these systems, deliver strategic enhancements, and spearhead the organization’s transition to Oracle Cloud-based solutions, beginning with Oracle ERP and Oracle HCM modules.

 Your responsibilities

Operational Excellence, Risk and Cost Management:

  • Ensure uninterrupted performance of all corporate systems.
  • Implement robust monitoring, governance, and reporting frameworks for Cloud/SaaS services to optimize performance and control costs.
  • Understand and manage risks with SaaS systems and their vendors.
  • Partner with Finance to monitor and manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), balancing cost-effectiveness with business needs.

Stakeholder Engagement and Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, HR, and Procurement teams, to align IT initiatives with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Manage relationships with Oracle, implementation partners and other SaaS vendors to ensure service levels, deliverables, and innovation opportunities are achieved.
  • Represent IT in cross-functional leadership forums and act as the primary point of contact for corporate IT-related matters.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing Corporate IT team, instilling a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills to manage Oracle Cloud environments and other SaaS solutions effectively, providing ongoing training and development opportunities.

Manage Migration of SaaS solutions to Strategic Provider(s)

  • Lead the phased migration to Oracle Cloud for corporate functions including finance, procurement, and human resources.
  • Define and manage a detailed migration roadmap, outlining timelines, resource requirements, risks, and contingency plans. Keep stakeholders informed through regular communication, workshops, and updates on project progress.
  • Oversee the integration of Oracle Cloud with other systems, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for seamless data flow.
  • Lead the organization through the change process, driving user adoption with comprehensive training, support, and communication plans.                                                                               

Your experience, skills & qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, ideally within financial services or a related sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and deliver measurable business outcomes through IT initiatives.
  • Proficiency in SaaS platform management and service optimization.
  • Strong service delivery experience having managed outsource providers using SLAs and outcomes based performance management.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, compliance, and risk management in SaaS/cloud environments.
  • Strong background & experience in managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Successful track record of leading migrations, turnkey cutovers and managing post-implementation environments.
  • Experience leading a multi-location & multi-disciplinary team
