Director of Content Marketing (Remote)

The Quadient Corporate Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Director of Content Marketing to join our Corporate Marketing Team. The role will be responsible for building and managing a global content marketing program, ensuring that the organization is developing creative, differentiate, and useful assets and thought leadership to support our customers at each stage of their buyer journey.

The Director of Content Marketing will be responsible for developing a global content strategy to support Quadient brand and solution campaigns, across three segments: Intelligent Communications Automation, Mail Related Services, and Parcel Locker Solutions. The Director will lead a team of content marketers to execute on this strategy, developing and localizing assets to be deployed by teams worldwide.

Reporting into the VP of Corporate Marketing, the Director must be a seasoned leader, who can work collaboratively with peers within the corporate marketing organization (external communications, brand, creative services, and digital and web teams) as well as build strong relationships with leadership across marketing functions, including demand generation, strategic marketing, product marketing, and marketing operations  The ideal candidate for this position is a strong leader who can balance strategic thinking and precise execution, and a creative marketer who brings novel ideas for how we can deliver more compelling experiences for our diverse client base.

Opportunity is offered as either a fully remote position but we have an office in Stratford, London for those who might wish to come into the office on a hybrid basis (optional).

Your role in our future

  • Leadership: Lead a global content marketing team in the execution of a global content strategy.

  • Strategy: Build a global content strategy aligned with demand generation and brand marketing campaign roadmap, and ensure content in development is aligned with key value propositions and properly targeted for key verticals and personas

  • Planning: Create and manage a comprehensive content roadmap and calendar, ensure stakeholders are continuously apprised of timelines and delivery dates

  • Optimization: Collaborate with closely with SEO and Web Development colleagues to ensure web pages and assets are optimized to drive visibility for Quadient and on-site conversion

  • Measurement: Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Demand Gen teams to measure content performance, and understand which assets are most valuable to our customers, and content marketing’s impact on the business

  • Consultation: Advise peers across the organization on content marketing best practices, and provide guidance on content types and formats that will be most relevant to our customers

  • Governance: Establish clear, scalable content creation and approval processes to ensure assets developed across the organization continuously meet the highest standards

  • Agency Management: Manage agency and partner relationships to ensure all content meets the highest quality standards

  • Budget Management: Manage budget for content development and localization

Your profile

  • 10+ years of content management experience, including strategy and execution. Experience in B2B, SaaS a plus

  • 5+ years of experience successfully leading, managing, and building high-performance teams

  • Experience managing agency relationships and marketing budgets

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (French and German language skills are a plus)

  • Strong numerical and reporting skills, with the ability to derive novel insights from data

  • Experience adopting new technologies to scale productivity, including Generative AI and other emerging technologies

  • Experience working in Asana or similar web-based project management tool

  • The ability to work autonomously, strong project management skills, and effectively prioritize work in a high-growth environment

  • Ability to be a player/coach, guiding and overseeing the work of team members while simultaneously possessing the ability to take a hands-on approach when required

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with to move quickly, respond to fast turnaround times, and balance short-term needs with long term strategic goals

  • Ability to collaborate, communicate, and build trust with senior-level and executive stakeholders across the organization

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, eager to build new frameworks and solutions from the ground up

  • Team player, eager to build a high-performance team and center of excellence
