Marketing at Virta is entering a scale phase. This role owns the marketing operating system and its impact on business outcomes—defining how marketing plans, executes, measures, and continuously improves across the organization.. You’ll build the systems and rituals that allow great strategy to turn into consistent, measurable impact.

Responsibilities
  • Marketing systems & tools (MarTech): Set strategy and standards for marketing technology, data, and workflows, ensuring tools, integrations, and processes scale with the business and support evolving GTM needs.

  • Planning & budget management: Lead annual and quarterly planning support, including budget tracking, pacing, and visibility into spend vs. impact.

  • Performance reporting & insights: Build and maintain standardized dashboards and executive-ready reporting that surface performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Process & operating rigor: Define, document, train, and continuously improve marketing processes that enable speed, quality, and accountability across the team.

  • Strategic horizontal leadership: Drive cross-functional initiatives that raise marketing effectiveness, improve collaboration, and strengthen team culture—including operating norms, rituals, and team health.

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Listen & assess: Audit current tools, processes, reporting, and planning workflows; identify gaps, duplication, and quick wins.

  • Create visibility: Deliver a clear view of current-state marketing performance, budget pacing, and operational risks to senior leadership.

  • Stabilize the core: Establish baseline dashboards, planning cadences, and documentation for the most critical workflows.
    Drive early wins: Improve adoption or effectiveness of at least one core marketing system (e.g., HubSpot reporting, campaign workflows).

  • Set the roadmap: Present a prioritized 6–12 month Marketing Operations roadmap aligned to 2026 growth goals.

Must-Haves
  • 10+ years experience in marketing operations, marketing analytics, or revenue operations in a scaling organization.

  • Hands-on expertise with marketing automation and reporting tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar).

  • Proven ability to design processes and systems that improve speed, quality, and accountability.

  • Strong executive communication skills, including translating data into insights and recommendations.

  • A builder mindset: comfortable creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist.

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. As part of your duties at Virta, you may come in contact with sensitive patient information that is governed by HIPAA. Throughout your career at Virta, you will be expected to follow Virta's security and privacy procedures to ensure our patients' information remains strictly confidential. Security and privacy training will be provided.

As a remote-first company, our team is spread across various locations with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco.
