About the Role:

An opportunity to join a global account and international team that plans and supports EMEA markets out of London. This role is ideal for someone with established media planning, strategy and thinking, and wants to work on one of the world's most iconic brands. We are looking for someone who can set up and lead smart thinking & processes across multiple markets. From strategy, plan development & execution to reporting.

Within the team we strive for flawless execution and often work in high pressure, innovative and quick moving environments. We are looking for somebody who’s adaptable, curious and who stresses the detail. Somebody who feels like they would thrive in situations like this and wants to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

The Director will be responsible for managing a planning team across multiple markets that brings to life smart global campaigns with the best local approach. The role will be responsible for both offline and online output across all media channels. Candidates should have previous media agency experience, ideally in an international role and a solid understanding of EMEA markets.

The role would suit someone who is highly organized, strategic and looking to work in a full-service agency environment, relishing the opportunity to work on a single client and develop with the brand and agency as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key point of contact for clients
  • Organise, manage and lead day-to-day running of the account. Taking ownership of all related activity
  • Develop thought provoking and best in class campaign planning and strategies
  • Create and present concise and good-looking presentations for multiple stakeholders including clients
  • Lead team and specialist departments to create strategic approach to briefs
  • Bring together different media plan elements in a cohesive, integrated way.
  • Oversee quarterly budget setting and tracking for different lines of business
  • Be a key point of contact for local European and global teams
  • Work closely with local teams and media vendors to identify new opportunities / partnerships
  • liaise with creative agency on best practices and building relationship

 

About You: 

  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Passion for and interest in international media planning / buying
  • Interest in consumer technology, entertainment, music and film.  Desire to learn and understand client’s business.
  • Curiosity about the world and how media and advertising play a part in it
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit – have a desire to make things happen and find solutions
  • Be a strong team player
  • Enthusiastic, determined, open-minded and creative
  • Desire to continue to learn and develop within the agency environment

Our working pattern for colleagues is to be present in the office three days a week at our offices in London with the other days available to work remotely. Let us know if you have any questions about our working pattern as part of your application and interview process.


Flexible Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working.  Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
