Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Role description:
- Commercial heavy/medium duty on-road truck technical and industry background essential; international experience a distinct advantage
- Act as subject matter expert within the business for commercial heavy/medium duty truck platforms - from both industrial and technical perspectives - preferably with knowledge across a range of applications/sectors
- Flexible role, expected to evolve in tune with the business' emerging strategy
- Includes team leadership and day-to-day management - critical to drive best value and best practices from existing team
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and ownership of the product line strategy specifically for the North America truck sector
- Provide the business with market-specific technical and commercial expertise, including regular analysis on short and long term business trends; be a key contributor to business' Product and Technology Road Maps
- Development and ownership of the business 'Go To Market' plan for this sector, including owning and managing key customer and operator relationships, developing an understanding of how our customers make decisions and do business
- Support the creation of an affordable and effective Marketing Plan, driving the BAE Systems brand recognition across all our target markets
- Leadership of the full capture process for new business opportunities ensuring best practices are learned and followed by both the BD team and the wider business; covering opportunity identification and qualification, through to the creation and submission of winning, profitable proposals
- Development and ownership of relevant Gov-Rel and industry body activities
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- At least twelve years' experience working in senior roles including Sales or Procurement in the North American commercial truck industry, either with a leading OEM or Tier One supplier
- An extensive network of contacts across senior levels of the sector
- A proven track record of delivering sustained business (sales) growth
- Experience working at C-Suite level, both internally and externally, with a track record of shaping business strategy and approach
- Strong collaboration and networking skills, with a proactive approach to relationship building and partnering both internally and externally
- Exceptional media and communication skills
- A proven ability to work with minimal supervision, within a geographically diverse, matrixed organisation
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Vehicle electrification experience is a benefit but not essential
