Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Group Director – Brand and Regional Marketing, this is a senior leadership role responsible for defining how LSEG is positioned as an enterprise brand. You will lead the development of a clear, differentiated market narrative that simplifies our proposition, strengthens our brand architecture, and ensures a consistent story across customers, partners and employees.

You will oversee both the current Brand Strategy and Strategic Initiatives Marketing teams, bringing together enterprise positioning, messaging, and strategic marketing into a single, coordinated function. Working closely with senior leaders across the Group, you will ensure the Make More Possible platform and LSEG's strategic industry themes evolve together to create a coherent, scalable market proposition that supports business growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning the enterprise positioning of LSEG, developing a clear, differentiated market narrative that simplifies how the organisation is understood by customers and stakeholders.

  • Leading the Brand Strategy and Strategic Initiatives Marketing teams, creating close alignment between brand, messaging, positioning and strategic marketing.

  • Developing and maintaining LSEG's enterprise messaging architecture, ensuring consistency across all audiences, channels and business areas.

  • Defining, evolving and governing LSEG's strategic industry themes (currently including Sustainable Finance & Investment (SFI), AI, Private Markets and Digitalisation), ensuring they remain aligned to changing business priorities.

  • Bringing the enterprise story to life through the Make More Possible platform, ensuring strategic themes reinforce the overall LSEG brand rather than compete with it.

  • Simplifying and evolving LSEG's brand architecture to improve customer understanding, reduce complexity and support future growth.

  • Delivering and overseeing LSEG's global brand strategy and amplification, partnering with teams across Corporate Affairs & Marketing to strengthen brand awareness, familiarity, and differentiation across markets.

  • Embedding AI tools and capabilities into brand and marketing workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, quality, and effectiveness.

  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to align brand investment with commercial, customer and corporate priorities.

  • Leading and developing high-performing teams while embedding modern ways of working and AI-enabled capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Enterprise brand strategy and positioning expertise.

  • Strong creative and strategic thinking with a customer-centric mindset and focus on business impact.

  • Experience shaping brand strategy for complex global organisations.

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communicator, capable of building credibility and driving alignment across senior leadership.
