Background

Diageo is embarking on an exciting and significant Digital Transformation through the Advanced Supply Planning Programme. The program is an initiative that will transform Supply Planning, by introducing new capabilities and processes and new technology.

In doing so, we’ll support our Performance Ambition in Sustaining Quality Growth as a priority. In time these changes will help us to make sure that every case ordered is delivered on time, everywhere (our Case Fill Rate) and will help us to plan for mid-and long-term growth.

This transformation is more than just technology. It will bring about the digital capabilities that careers in Supply Planning are made of – insightful and market leading.

About the role

The Digital Transformation Learning & Enablement Lead plays a critical role in the Advance Planning System program, reporting to the Global Change Management Leader.

They are responsible for managing and coordinating the global training program and establishing standards for Supply Planning Capability as we implement Diageo’s global planning solution.

This program will drive a radical transformation of our planning processes, systems, and organization. Effective change management, capability building, and training are essential for ensuring a successful outcome, adoption, and sustainability of the future-fit solution.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and own the entire Training Programme ‘Licence To Plan’ and Supply Planning Capability standards.

  • Build a comprehensive suite of training materials to prepare end users for new planning processes and solutions, ensuring high quality and consistency.

  • Coordinate a robust training delivery plan for each wave of deployment, working closely with Process Owners and Analysts.

  • Deliver the Train the Trainer approach and mandate dry runs for new trainers

  • Oversee and track user attendance, exercise completion, and adoption through KPIs and reporting.

  • Develop a program for onboarding New Joiners to the tool, process, and digital capabilities.

  • Develop and manage annual recertification to keep 'Licence to Plan' current

  • Administer and develop the Advanced Supply Planning Training Hub as a One Stop Shop for all training materials and resources.

  • Manage ‘License to Plan’ learning journey on My Learning Hub.

  • Ensure seamless integration of training materials with digital tools and platforms used.

  • Develop digitalized ‘Licence to Plan’ End User Qualification mechanism

  • Automate and digitize administrative tasks such as attendance and exercise completion tracking, knowledge checks etc

  • Transform in-person training into online self-learning journeys, working internally and with external support.

  • Coordinate the delivery of the monthly Global Planning Forum and manage the Advanced Supply Planning Community Channel.

Skills, capabilities & experience required

  • Demonstrated passion for digital technologies.

  • Supply chain planning expertise and understanding (ideally in DRP/MRP/MPS/IBP).

  • Extensive experience in capability building and training programme development across diverse geographies and cultures.

  • Experience in digital transformational programmes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Passion to drive change and build capability.

  • Skilled at relationship building and teamwork.

  • Flexible, agile, and resilient, with a proactive approach to completing deliverables.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving in unstructured environments.

  • Able to meet deadlines and key project milestones.

  • Familiarity with eLearning and video editing software is desirable
