The Role

We are on the hunt for an experienced Midweight or Senior Digital Strategist to work closely with our clients to understand what it is they need, and identify how we can solve their problems with innovative digital tech. If you have a background in consulting, product management or digital agencies in the health sector, we want to speak to you. We’re looking for a self-starter with an independent streak who can take on today’s bewildering digital landscape and make sense of it for companies big and small.

Day to day:

  • Building a strong relationship with key clients, becoming a trusted advisor and source of digital and product expertise.
  • Interpretation and interrogation of client briefs to ensure the ‘brief behind the brief’ is uncovered.
  • Developing compelling pitch and proposal documents in response to client briefs
  • Research and analysis as part of the formulation of digital strategies to solve real world health problems
  • Unpick an idea and craft the strategic thinking on shaping the concept into a feature or product that could be designed and built
  • Preparation of creative briefs for our creative team comprising UX, design and art directors
  • Advising clients day-to-day across a broad range of projects spanning websites, mobile apps, generative AI, and voice skills
  • Creating and running client-facing strategic workshops with the relevant Flipside experts
  • Liaising with other teams to identify new business opportunities and opportunities for innovation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering digital innovation +/ product development strategies 
  • Extensive experience in a client facing digital strategy, product or consulting role
  • Excellent presentation skills (both in terms of crafting a compelling written narrative and verbal presentation skills).
  • Solid UX knowledge; knows what a good user journey/experience looks like.
  • Ideally some research skills, gathering insights to help form strategies Knowledge of digital health and healthcare technology, in particular key trends, market standards and regulatory constraints
  • Experience with the development of new business proposals and responses to RFPs

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in the implementation of technology within Government
  • GDS Service Standard is a nice to have, but not a must
  • Experience with the use of behavioural change techniques (like COM-B) to inform the development of digital products
