About The Role

This newly created position is responsible for selling and creating some of the most exciting brand partnerships and advertising placements in the global restaurant industry. As a Digital Sales Manager, you will become the face of OpenTable with our advertisers and brand partners, delivering exceptional results to them and working across all departments within OpenTable to ensure every project is a success. You will report directly to the VP of Global Sales Partnerships as part of one of our fastest growing businesses.

You will be joining a small team solely focused on identifying and closing new partnerships across the world, working with both brand and restaurant partners. As the Digital Sales Manager, you understand and anticipate how decisions are made, and are comfortable working autonomously in a high trust, high ownership environment. You will be highly organised yet comfortable owning execution of highly visible projects, run meetings with senior executives, and managing a range of stakeholders inside and outside the business. Efficient multitasking should be one of your skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy alongside building a pipeline of prospects for your segments
  • Consultative Selling: Keep a close eye on the competitive landscape and industry trends, have a deep understanding of each of our advertising & creative solutions products, our audience and wider core business to effectively build proposals and pitch our advertising solutions to clients
  • Revenue growth: Ambitiously seek to deliver incremental revenue from existing partners as well as pursue and close new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and cross-sell!
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships with our direct clients and media agencies, understanding their needs as well as ensuring all return on investment targets are exceeded. Leverage commercial expertise to deepen the relationship and embed the OpenTable offering into client media plans
  • Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams including Client Success, our in-house marketing team, our restaurant sales and account management teams

  • Competitive, tenacious and results driven. Self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure and against ambitious goals and deadlines
  • 5+ years of experience in selling tailored digital partnerships and strong media agency relationships across EMEA
  • Highly organised and thrives in a multitasking environment
  • Curios with engineers mentality - love to problem solve
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Curiosity about the restaurant industry and love working with technology
  • Proficient in Salesforce & data analytical tools
