Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to bring high quality inbound sales opportunities into the pipeline, from digital marketing sources. Digital channels are a core growth engine for Xapien, responsible for 70% of our inbound sales pipeline. Our ambitious 2025 growth objectives require us to significantly increase inbound qualified opportunities while improving efficiency.
Previously, we worked with an external agency to manage our digital marketing strategy, but we’re now bringing this work in-house. This role is an exciting opportunity to build and scale our digital growth engine, driving high-quality inbound sales opportunities through data-driven paid media campaigns, conversion rate optimisation, and collaboration with our content lead on organic growth demand and lead generation.
You will report to the Head of Comms & Marketing and collaborate closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.
Here’s what you will be responsible for:
- Driving inbound sales opportunities ensuring a steady pipeline of high-quality leads.
- End-to-end ownership of paid media campaigns, from strategy and setup to daily optimisation, reporting, and budget allocation.
- Building & optimising paid landing pages and ad copy to maximize conversion rates.
- Monitoring website performance (user journeys, SEO & site health), to optimise conversion rates and drive organic inbound leads, in collaboration with the Content Manager
- Managing HubSpot reporting dashboards, basic automation and marketing email flows to track campaign effectiveness, cost per qualified opportunity & ROI, and optimise lead follow up notifications and nurtures.
- Aligning closely with the Sales team, ensuring digital marketing efforts support revenue objectives and lead follow-up processes are optimised.
- Leveraging analytics tools to assess campaign performance and inform data-driven marketing decisions.
- Optimising multi-channel campaigns, integrating paid media efforts with content, events, and product marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Must-haves to be successful in this role:
B2B SaaS Marketing Strategy – Proven ability to analyse data and apply strategic thinking in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Paid Media (Google & LinkedIn) – Expert in designing, executing, and optimising paid campaigns.
HubSpot reporting & automation – Strong knowledge of HubSpot’s reporting functionality and basic automation workflows.
Keyword strategies & SEO – Skilled in developing keyword strategies across paid and organic digital marketing channels that align with the company’s acquisition goals.
Strong communication & collaboration skills – Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, content, and customer success teams.

CMS & landing page management – Experience using WordPress (Elementor) for landing page creation and optimisation.

Salary: up to £70,000 + bonus + equity (dependent on experience)
