Job Description

What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team in London on a 6 month FTC, which is responsible for playing a key part in delivering business and marketing objectives with a strong emphasis on email marketing within a regulated UK financial services environment.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, build, execution and optimisation of email communications to clients and prospects, supporting acquisition, retention and engagement goals. You will also provide support to the Digital Marketing & Website Manager, contributing to content updates, testing and reporting.

As Digital Marketing Executive, your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Plan, build and deploy email campaigns across the full customer lifecycle, including newsletters, campaigns, automated journeys and triggered communications.
  • Use Dotdigital as the email marketing platform, building templates, managing contact data, setting up automations and monitoring deliverability and performance.
  • Support the development and optimisation of segmentation, personalisation and targeting strategies to improve relevance, engagement and conversion and take a data-led approach to email performance, analysing open rates, click-through rates, conversions and longer-term engagement trends.
  • Work with marketing colleagues to support integrated campaigns, ensuring email activity complements website, social and offline activity where appropriate.
  • Support the Digital Marketing & Website Manager with uploading and formatting approved content, page updates and QA testing.
  • Work with the Senior Marketing & Digital Analytics Manager to produce clear and concise reports on email performance, translating data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Proven experience in email marketing, ideally within a regulated or complex organisation with an understanding of email best practice, deliverability, GDPR and consent management.
  • Hands-on experience with Dotdigital (or similar enterprise email platforms), with Dotdigital experience highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence interpreting campaign and engagement data.
  • Basic HTML knowledge and confidence working with email templates.
  • Experience supporting website content management systems (CMS), without full ownership of site development.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly important in a financial services context with an ability to explain performance, insights and recommendations clearly to a range of stakeholders.

Desired:

  • Relevant digital marketing qualifications desirable although not essential.
  • Project management qualifications desirable although not essential.
  • University qualification desired but not essential.
