Our strategy is bold: we’re building a world-class digital subscription business, transforming engagement across premium brands spanning tech, lifestyle, entertainment, and more.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a performance and growth marketing leader to lead our internal digital growth agency—driving best-in-class customer acquisition, experimentation, and optimisation across all digital channels.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you’ll build, and scale a digital marketing function, establishing an outstanding internal growth agency that delivers across all acquisition channels. With multi-million-pound budgets, a diverse portfolio of brands, and a major growth push into the US, this role is for a strategic operator who can drive big commercial outcomes while also building long-term competitive advantage.

If you’re ready to shape the future of digital subscriptions at one of the world’s most exciting media companies, this is the opportunity.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and lead a best-in-class performance marketing team, responsible for customer acquisition across paid and organic digital channels.
  • Own and optimise performance marketing across PPC (Google, Bing), paid social (Meta, TikTok), display, video and emerging platforms.
  • Scale customer acquisition across multiple high-value subscription brands, with a strong focus on the US and UK.
  • Lead forecasting, performance analysis, and attribution strategy, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive CRO (conversion rate optimisation) through rigorous A/B testing, user journey analysis, and landing page optimisation.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Experience scaling multi-million-pound performance marketing budgets with strong Return on investment.
  • Expertise in paid acquisition channels (PPC, social, display), CRO, and landing page optimisation.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams across acquisition, CRO, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience with CAC:LTV and retention-driven growth.
  • Balance short-term acquisition wins with long-term subscriber growth strategy.
  • Experience in US market growth.
  • Stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting at executive level.

What's in it for you
